Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 is the sixteenth installment of the popular series of golf simulators. The game was produced by the developers at EA Tiburon which is responsible for the creation of seven previous games in the series (from Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2007 forth).
The leading motive of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 is a confrontation of golf legends and the new generation of players. The players have thus the opportunity to play as Tiger Woods, a living legend of the sport – Arnold Palmer (95 victories in professional golf tournaments), as well as talented youngsters such as Keegan Bradley, Bud Cauley, and Lexi Thompson. In addition, there is an opportunity to play as female players due to the acquisition of the Ladies Professional Golf Association license. Unfortunately, the number of women closes in five ladies, among which we can find the star of the LPGA league – Stacy Lewis.
One of the novelties is the Legends of the Majors mode in which the player has an opportunity to control such acclaimed golfers as Steve Ballesteros or Jack Nicklaus. The competitions take place on 20 world-renowned golf fields which appearance and shape have been carefully mapped based on photos and laser measurements. Among the available places, we will find Augusta National Golf Club, Old Course, Pinehurst No. 2 Restored, and the Stadium Course.
Another news in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 is the ability to play at different times of the day and night in varying weather conditions. Playing after the sunset is done by using special glow-in-dark balls. The system allows handwritten setting meeting time.
The allows you to set up your own club which may consist of 100 people. Thanks to this, it is possible to organize internal events, track statistics, chat, and more.
The game allows for playing via network in which up to 24 players may participate. The control system allows you to play using motion controllers. Gamers can increase the level of realism by hitting the ball themselves and giving it the direction of flight.
