Rainbow Six Mobile is a mobile port of the popular tactical shooter Rainbow Six: Siege. The game was developed by Ubisoft Montreal. It is distributed in a free-to-play model.

Game mechanics

The game offers the same gameplay as R6 Siege. This is a tactical shooter in which cooperation between team plays an important role. Each player takes on the role of one of the operators with special abilities. Their skillful use affects the gameplay.

In R6 Mobile we can play with 5 operators for each side. These are:

Attack: Ash, Sledge, Twitch, Thermite and Hibana.
Defense: Caveira, Bandit, Smoke, Valkyrie and Mute.

We take part in 5 vs 5 multiplayer battles, in which attackers and defenders face each other. Both groups must complete specific objectives in a limited time. To win, you must complete a task or eliminate everyone in the enemy squad.

Clashes are conducted on a number of different maps. Among them, the Bank and the Frontier can be mentioned. They also appear in R6 Siege, but have been modified for the mobile port.

Game modes

R6 Mobile features three game modes well known from Rainbow Six: Siege:

Bomb - on the map there are two bombs in two adjacent rooms. The task of attackers is to break through to one of the spots, plant a def and possibly defend it. Defenders, on the other hand, must eliminate the attackers.
Secure Area - attackers must get into the marked room, eliminate the defenders there and take it over. Defenders, on the other hand, try to stop them.
Hostage - attackers have to locate the hostage, break through to him and take him out of the building. Defenders, on the other hand, are to prevent this from happening. Neither side can kill the hostage either.
