Top Gun: Firestorm Advance is an extremely easy to use shooter, clearly referring to the famous 1986 action movie. At the same time, it is worth mentioning that the Top Gun games were released on many different hardware platforms. GameBoy Advance console has two such titles. In addition to the production described above, it is also a Top Gun: Combat Zones game. Firestorm Advance is the responsibility of Titus, which in recent years has become famous for games such as Barbarian or Worms World Party. This product was created only with the needs of a single player in mind. So there are no multiplayer modes.

The action of this shooter takes place in a partially three-dimensional environment. Very similar schemes to Desert Strike Advance were used here. We see the boards in isometric projection. At the same time, a number of simplifications have been taken care of, including the speed at which a typical fighter should move. Everything was done in such a way that the player had enough time to make the right decision. Graphically, the game looks quite good, especially if you take into nicely made explosions. As far as the appearance of the maps themselves is concerned, we fly over jungles and deserts, among others.
