A shooter that parodies battle royale games. In Totally Accurate Battlegrounds, the players participate in violent battles. Only one person can survive the match. The fights are running on a physics engine that frequently generates absurd situations.
Totally Accurate Battlegrounds is a parody of multiplayer battle royale shooters. It was developed by Landfall – the creators of the grotesque Totally Accurate Battle Simulator. The game was released as a celebration of the April Fool’s day.
In Totally Accurate Battlegrounds, the action is presented from a first-person perspective. During the game, the players assume the role of unlucky men who landed on a vast island. There, they participate in brutal battles. Faithfully to the genre principles, the battle lasts until only one person remains on the battlefield. The map, filled with forests, plains, urban buildings, abandoned factories, and warehouses, can be traveled through on foot or by using vehicles. The developers created a variety of modifiable guns and equipment like shields and helmets that can increase players’ chances for survival.
The three-dimensional graphics of Totally Accurate Battlegrounds uses grotesque and non-serious style. The game uses a physical engine that generates absurd situations – for example, weapons’ recoil can throw characters a few meters to the back.
