The game enables us to take control of one of ninety cycling teams and lead them throughout the 2015 season. During its course, we take part in over 200 races, consisting of 550 stages, with the final objective to win the prestigious Tour de .
Pro Cycling Manager 2015: Tour de is a sports manager game for PC, XONE and etc., focusing on bicycle races. The game was developed by Cyanide, a French studio responsible for all previous installments of the series.
Despite the fact that the game is named after the legendary bicycle race, Pro Cycling Manager 2015: Tour de doesn’t limit itself to a single event. The game enables us to take control over one of ninety cycling teams, with a task to lead it through the whole 2015 season. The chosen team will take part in over 200 races, divided into 550 stages, in order to finally compete during Tour de itself. The game was developed in agreement with the event’s organizers, resulting in real courses, teams, and participants known from TV coverages.
As the team’s managers, we have to recruit riders, manage the budget, sign contracts with competitors and sponsors, prepare training plans and watch the event calendar. We also have to decide upon numerous details during the races themselves, where every decision may be vital to the final tally.
Aside from the singleplayer mode, Pro Cycling Manager 2015: Tour de introduces the ability to organize online competitions in which we can play against other managers. The career mode known from the previous installments received numerous upgrades, including modified training system with over 50 available training plans, more expansive scouting, as well as the ability to manage the backup team. Moreover, we’ve received access to ProCyclist, a career mode that enables us to create a rider, and then lead him to the top of cycling world. When it comes to mechanics, the game is now more realistic, while the authors introduced numerous updates and additions to opponent’s AI.
