Tower Dominion is a tower defense strategy game, enriched with mechanics borrowed from the roguelike genre. This project was created by the independent studio Parallel 45 Games.

Gameplay

In Tower Dominion we watch the action in an isometric view.

Deg the battlefield

The game takes place in real time, on battlefields made up of square tiles. Our task is to prepare the battlefield in such a way that successive waves of attacking enemies cannot destroy our headquarters.

In order to achieve this, we need to take care of the proper shaping of the terrain, creating elevations in specific places and thus creating unique "bottlenecks" and forcing adversaries to move through winding corridors.

It is also necessary to deploy defensive towers and automatic turrets. The icing on the cake are the heroes fighting on our side, differing in of fighting style, skills, and strengths and weaknesses.

Factions and upgrades

The game gives us access to factions differentiated in of the biomes they defend, the available arsenal, as well as the heroes representing them. After each wave, we unlock various upgrades, including both additional heroes and new objects. They can increase our combat potential, but they also allow us to better adapt to the threats we face.

Endless war

The subsequent skirmishes are procedurally generated, which significantly reduces the predictability of the gameplay and allows for almost endless fun... as long as we don't fall under the onslaught of overwhelming enemy forces, which would force us to start playing from scratch.
