Tower Dwellers

Tower Dwellers, released on iOS, AND, etc., is a tower defense strategy game created by Polish studio ECC Games. These developers have also worked on games like Roll in the Hole, Zombies Ate My Baby or Dive for Treasures.

Mechanics

The action of Tower Dwellers takes place in a fantasy world, where oppressed villagers try to counter the Horde's invasion. Fights take place on small maps (over 20) covered with a more or less complicated network of paths, on which enemies move. The player's task is to deploy towers and defeat enemy forces. Unlike other games of this type, the buildings don't have any offensive functions, but they allow us to train our villagers as soldiers. In addition, they coexist with auxiliary buildings, which are used to give profession to our warriors. Thanks to this we can use knights, magicians, archers and even hybrids combining the features of individual classes. The gameplay is also varied by various spells, e.g. regenerating the health of units.
