Trail Out

Gameplay

Trail Out is a dynamic racing game strongly focused on direct with opponents and destruction. We can observe the action from the first-person perspective (view from the cockpit or from the front of the hood) or from the third-person perspective. There are fifty cars at our disposal from different periods of history and representing different types - rally and touring vehicles can meet on one track. We start at the bottom by purchasing a car from a scrapyard, which we then equip with the selected engine, wheels or suspension.

The vehicle we obtained can be tested in eight different disciplines. Among them are classic races, demolition derby, and boss battles, defeating whom allows us to climb in the festival ranking. Additionally, modes such as Cross (the race track consists of numerous intersections), Stunts (a set of mini-games akin to car bowling) or Escape (the last participant is eliminated after each lap) are also available. The events take place on fifty different tracks or arenas.

Game modes

Trail Out allows to play alone and compete locally. A maximum of four s can play using split screen.

Technical aspects

The game uses the Unreal 4 engine, largely focusing on presenting damage. During the races, we can often see dents from impacts, torn off doors, and drivers falling out of vehicles.
