Train Simulator 2021 is the next instalment of the popular train driving simulator series. The game was developed by Dovetail Games.
In of game mechanics, Train Simulator 2021 is no different to its predecessors. Players control one of the selected locomotives. Among the machines available (steam, diesel and electric), you will find models such as the BR Class 68, DB BR 218 or EMD F7. Then drive the train along one of the available routes.
When driving, pay attention to speed limits and traffic lights. Failure to meet the constraints will cause the scenario to fail. Weather conditions also affect the driving of the train set. Among other things, rain affects the braking distance and wheel slippage.
Train Simulator 2021 is fully compatible with the previous installments of the series and the add-ons released for them, by offering routes that reflect real railway lines from all over the world - from Europe, through Asia, to America. Apart from that, the developers have prepared an editor that allows players to create their own maps.
In this installment, it was made easier to share your creations with the help of the Steam Workshop platform. It allows you to search for new scenarios in a more efficient way.
According to the tradition of the series, owners of previous installments of the Train Simulator series will receive a free the latest version of the game.
