Train Simulator Classic

Train Simulator Classic is the new installment of the Train Simulator series, originating from 2009. It was developed and published by Dovetail Games.

The game itself hasn't changed since Train Simulator 2022. The new release is a form of celebrating the series' twelth anniversary. The developers decided to return to the classic cover design, absent from the series ever since Train Simulator 2016.

Mechanics

In of mechanics, Train Simulator Classic doesn't differ from the series' previous installments. Once again, our job is to drive a train. The game revolves around delivering our payload along a designated route while staying within the realms of our timetable. This task, however, isn't always easy. We must watch out for speed limits and traffic lights, while adjusting our driving to the weather conditions. If we make a mistake and derail the train or run a red light, the scenario automatically ends in failure.
