TRON: Catalyst

TRON: Catalyst is an action-adventure game set in the science fiction universe created for the TRON film series. The game was developed by Bithell Games studio, which has in its portfolio such projects as The Solitaire Conspiracy.

Gameplay

In TRON: Catalyst we watch the action in an isometric view.

Network exploration

We can explore the Arq network (known from the game Tron: Identity) on foot or on a Light Cycle. Along the way, we meet the characters (or rather - programs) inhabiting it and perform various quests, gradually uncovering the secrets of this place and pushing the plot forward.

Hero's skills

During exploration, the unique ability of the main character plays a crucial role. Due to a Glitch, the Arq network becomes destabilized and gets stuck in a time loop, which the protagonist can use to their advantage, gaining access to secret areas and unlocking useful shortcuts. Skillful use of the chaos caused by the Glitch also allows him to gain the favor of individual factions.

Combat

Fighting opponents also plays an important role in the game. The clashes are dynamic, and during them we can engage in both close combat duels and eliminate enemies from a distance. Our main weapon is the Identity Disc. As we progress, we gather fragments of data, which help us develop the protagonist.
