The last chapter of the Age of Darkness of Sosaria ends with the fight against Exodus, the child of sorcerer Mondain and Minax, who is waiting in the depths of the Great Ocean for a favorable moment to start the attack.
Ultima III: Exodus is the third installment in the legendary Ultima series. It became not only a true breakthrough within the cRPG genre, but also in the gaming industry as a whole. The reason for that was the introduction of revolutionary controls for four-member party (up to that point, it was only possible to control one character).
The action takes place after the events of the previous Ultimas. This time around, it turns out that Mondain and Minax had a scheme to make themselves immortal. Secretly, they left a descendant known as Exodus.
The player, accompanied by the mysterious Timelord, has to put an end to the vile plans of Exodus. Defeating Exodus ends the Cycle of Destiny started by Mondain, and so the The Age of Darkness turns into Enlightenment. Sosaria finally knows peace and safety which united its cities into a single country - Britannia.
