Ultimate Ski Jumping 2020 is an arcade sports game focused on the ski jumpers' competition. The game doesn't focus on realism, instead it offers a simplified gameplay model and gives players a lot of freedom to adapt it to their own expectations. The game was developed by Blue Sunset Games studio (authors of Animal Rivals or Car Demolition Clicker). The publisher is Forever Entertainment.

Ultimate Ski Jumping 2020 is a sports game dedicated to the discipline of ski jumping, in which the action is observed from the side (i.e. side-scrolling). We are dealing here with an old-school gameplay model - controlling an athlete in flight requires above all dexterity (although the creators have also prepared a more advanced system, which requires a bit more attention from the player).

The game allows us to create our own ski jumper - we can personalize such issues as name, appearance or used equipment (helmets, gloves, skis, boots, overalls), but depending on the chosen mode of play we can only influence our player or both his and his rivals. There is also an option to adjust the level of the challenge posed by computer-controlled athletes.

It's worth noting the high level of board diversity - besides the usual hills we can compete on the object located on the... Moon.

Game modes

In Ultimate Ski Jumping 2020 we can play alone or with others. The developers have prepared a campaign which offers a set of several tournaments connected by a short introductory story. We also have a Quickplay mode (we jump on the chosen hill and with the opponents indicated) and Training. Fans of multiplayer can compete within a network or local mode.

Technical aspects

Ultimate Ski Jumping 2020 has an old-school, three-dimensional graphic design, which was made in pixel-art style. The game looks clear and decent, mainly due to quite interesting location designs and distinctive colors.
