The main task of the player is of course to find a way back home safely, but before this happens, a whole lot of adventures await him. The greatest problem in the unfriendly world turns out to be its ruler, the evil Emperor Neiamises, who subordinated Virgan, the inhabitants of this alternative reality, to himself by the rule of terror. The Emperor predicted that Boris' appearance could be disastrous for his future career, so he will do everything to kill him. Of course, unaware of the seriousness of the situation, the young man will learn about it at the least appropriate moment.
Technically, Universe resembles another Core Design adventure, Curse of Enchantia. So we are dealing with a very similar interface, which consists of a huge number of icons. Initially, the choice of options may cause fear and during the game also problems with the effective use of items. Although we often know what we want to do, it is difficult to find an appropriate icon that will allow us to perform a given action. If you're already at the Curse of Enchantia, it's worth mentioning that the Universe has finally come up with a conversation option that's more than just a cry for help and saying "hello" to the creatures you meet.
Universe is an interesting alternative to the series of space adventures of Sierra. Although Core Design is not so humorous, science fiction enthusiasts should still like it. Also noteworthy is the nice audio-visual setting and a good scenario, which will certainly not let anyone get bored.
