The science-fiction story starts when a prison ship crashes on an unknown planet due to a failure. As one of the few survivors, we start the journey through the amazing planet’s surface, meeting alien species and many bizarre monsters.
We slowly discover that the Na Pali planet, which we unsuspectedly visit, is inhabited by a peaceful race of Nali enslaved by the invaders of the Skaarj Empire. Roaming the unknown lands, we discover the secrets of the planet and the reasons why its natives were enslaved by aggressors.

Action
The official expansion for Epic Games' hit FPS shooter Unreal, released in 1998. The expansion, entitled Return to Na Pali, contains seventeen new missions in which we return to the title planet to find the crew of another spaceship that crashed somewhere on its surface. If our protagonist - former prisoner number 849 - manages to complete the task, he will be freed and cleared of all charges. On his way, however, monsters from the alien Skaarj race stand again, using the captured people for slave labor.
