Mechanics

In Unsighted the action was shown from a top-down view. Game gives us a vast metropolis, which was divided into smaller locations. Each level is connected to one another, but we gain access to many of them only after unlocking a specific skill or obtaining a particular piece of equipment. It's worth ing that there is more than one way to reach each goal, so if a specific path seems too difficult or complicated, it's worth looking around for alternatives.

The driving force behind the game are the tasks we complete as we travel through Arcadia. Enemies, whom we eliminate with the help of an extensive arsenal, disturb us in completing the missions. During dynamic fights we use both cold weapons, such as swords or shurikens, and firearms, such as machine guns or shotguns. Skirmishes are dynamic and we have to be in constant motion during them. In addition to the large amount of "cannon fodder", on our way there are bosses, which are much more challenging.

An important role in the game is played by Anima, whose supply dwindles in real time both for Alma and for other androids. This makes it possible for a particular character to become 'unsighted' even before we visit him, which will affect the course of the story and its ending. Alma can increase her Anima resource by helping other androids or sucking it from their bodies.

As we progress, we not only acquire new weapons of murder, but also develop the protagonist with the help of various chips, which we find or craft ourselves. They provide Alma with new skills and useful bonuses. Moreover, on our way we gain useful gadgets, which give us new possibilities both in the fight and during the exploration (like the rope with a hook for easier platform sequences).

Game modes

Apart from the story mode, Unsighted contains two additional modes, Boss Rush and Dungeon Raid. The game allows you to play solo or in cooperative mode.

Technical aspects

Unsighted has colorful, manga-like graphics made with pixel art technique.
