Another pseudosimulator designed for virtual reality sets. The production takes players to the universe of the Job Simulator game - after the main character of the game has found out what work is, he can now experience a rest in a tropical resort, playing carefree with robots and preparing delicious meals.
Vacation Simulator is another pseudo-simulator developed by the independent studio Owlchemy Labs, similar to the previous work of this team, i.e. Job Simulator.
The action of Vacation Simulator takes place in a universe created for the needs of the aforementioned Job Simulator. The game takes us on a journey to 2050, when machines took over most of the responsibilities from people. After the protagonist of the latter game learned what work is, now is the time to find out what it is like to rest in a tropical resort.
In Vacation Simulator we observe the action from FPP. Due to the fact that the game requires virtual reality sets to work, we can freely look around by moving our heads, and by using motion controllers we control the hands of the protagonist.
The game consists of playing with robots (such as carefree bouncing the ball), as well as interacting with objects - for example, we can prepare a meal like a hamburger (meat must be baked on a grill beforehand) or a hot dog (which must be abundantly sprinkled with sauce).
Vacation Simulator is powered by the technology prepared for the needs of the previous work of the studio. The three-dimensional visuals of this production adopt a cartoonish style and rich colors, which fit well with the idyllic atmosphere accompanying the game.

Game Ratings for Vacation Simulator Video Game.
PlayStation Universe: 7.5 / 10 by Eric Hauter
Vacations are supposed to be fun and breezy – and that's exactly the way I would describe Vacation Simulator. Full of silly laughs and sunny good times, Vacation Simulator also delivers just the slightest edge of dark humor to keep teens and adults engaged. With a wide variety of puzzles and activities - any of which can be skipped – Vacation Simulator has a bit of something for everyone, while expanding on the original game in interesting ways.
NookGaming: 6 / 10 by Thomas Knight
I did enjoy Vacation Simulator, but I will note that it is fairly expensive for the amount of time some people may get out of it. If this will be your go-to game for the kids and introducing people to VR, it’s a good investment. If you just want to play it through once yourself, it could be an idea to wait for a sale. It does feel like a pity to say that because of the quality of the game, but you can see most content within two hours.
Push Square: 7 / 10 by Stephen Tailby
With some very smart additions, Vacation Simulator is a suitably more free flowing and open ended experience than its predecessor. Larger locations, reasons to revisit, and a huge range of things to see and do, this is a successful evolution of the silly sandbox antics Owlchemy Labs does so well. Despite PS Move tracking issues and no real step forward in writing, this is another mindlessly fun time-waster for when the summer Sun dips behind the clouds.
