Mechanics

Gameplay in Various Daylife is divided into two segments. The first one is based on normal life. The player takes on of the 20 available jobs - from knight to spell-writing scribe. More than 100 different activities can be carried out during work, enabling us to develop our characters.

The second segment focuses on the exploration of the continent. As our hero is a pioneer who travels unexplored areas, they must prepare themselves properly: among other things, to pack adequate food supplies and equipment necessary for survival.

During the exploration, the player has to face monsters. All battles are turn-based and shown in FPP. Three mechanics have been implemented: CHA - Change, which imposes negative effects on enemies; Chain, which allows for combo attacks; Chance, which is designed to deal heavy damage.
