Mechanics

In Vendir: Plague of Lies we watch the action in an isometric view. The adventure, which we start by creating a character, leads us through various, albeit equally gloomy locations - from outdoor settings, through cities and settlements, ending in dungeons.

While traversing them, we get to know their inhabitants and engage in conversations with them (during which we often have to make decisions that affect the further course of the story), as well as carry out various main and side quests.

Companions can us along the way, who have been diversified in of the classes they represent and the skills they possess. The professions available in the game include warrior, thief, mage and necromancer, and new abilities are unlocked as individual heroes develop. Additionally, we can increase the combat potential of the characters through increasingly better equipment.

We regularly have to reach for our weapon in the game. The battles take place in turn-based mode, and during them the key to success is the proper placement of heroes and skillful juggling of their abilities. It is worth ing that abilities can be combined with each other, which encourages experimenting with synergies.
