Viscera Cleanup Detail

Viscera Cleanup Detail is a humoristic arcade game in a science-fiction climate, from the indie studio of Runestorm.

The action of the title begins where most games would have already ended. An aggressive alien race has tried to take control over a human space station, most of the crew has been killed off and many of the station’s system have been destroyed. The aliens were ultimately defeated by a brave hero, who has single-handedly slaughtered most of his enemies. Good has defeated evil and humanity has been saved; however, all of the horrible events have left the station in a state of utter ruin. Destroyed machine parts, human and alien body parts are all over the place and it is our task to clean this whole mess up.

During our playthrough we wash blood off the floors and walls, gather body fragments and shell casings, remove ruined equipment and various junk from the corridors and rooms of the station. The developers have prepared futuristic tools, which we can use while cleaning. Basic gameplay mechanics include throwing away our equipment once it soaks up too much blood and putting body parts into special containers used for bio-waste and then cremating them in the furnace.
