Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun - Words of Vengeance

Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun - Words of Vengeance is a free modified version of Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, a retro-style shooter released in 2023. This version automates the movement of characters, transforming the original into a so-called rail shooter. Both productions are the work of the Auroch Digital team.

Gameplay

In Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun - Words of Vengeance, we watch the action from a first-person perspective (FPP).

Bloody adventure...

During the game, we take on the role of Malum Caedo. He lands on the forge-planet Graia to cleanse it from the forces of Chaos, and consequently - all sorts of cultists, traitors and demons. Unlike in the original, we do not directly control the protagonist and the game also does not allow us to aim.

...with a keyboard in hands

Instead, we perform individual actions by typing letters that appear on the screen (like in the Typing Chronicles series). They are arranged in randomly selected words related to the WH40K universe and its history, such as Manufactorum, Incommodus or Astronomican. The faster we type them, the more effective we are in battle and the faster we kill enemies.

Difficulty level

We must pay attention to typos, as such mistakes can cost us dearly. On the other hand, the game offers us four levels of difficulty, so we can adapt it to individual skills and preferences.
