A logic puzzle game developed with a co-op mode in mind, and a sequel to the well-received We Were Here. We Were Here Too by Total Mayhem Games features familiar mechanisms, giving the players the task of solving the mystery of a grim castle and reuniting the separated protagonists.
We Were Here Too for PC is a sequel to the well-received co-op logic puzzle game We Were Here. It was developed by the creators of its predecessor, indie studio Total Mayhem Games.
In We Were Here Too the players take on the roles of of an Arctic expeditions, who get separated from the other two scientists (the protagonists of We Were Here) during a violent blizzard. When the unfortunate people spot a medieval castle, they decide to take shelter inside. Once they to that, they're trapped and their task becomes not only to find an exit, but also to discover the mysterious past of the fortress.
The game utilizes a first-person perspective. Like in its predecessor, tin the beginning the protagonists are separated—one ends up in the Castle Rock catacombs, while the other explores the royal chambers. To reunite them, you have to solve various puzzles.
The inspiration for the game were escape rooms. To succeed, the players need to cooperate, which is made slightly more complicated by the fact that they can communicate only through walkie-talkies. The difficulty is further increased by the puzzles, which are randomized. Because of that, each playthrough features different challenges.
We Were Here Too features only an online co-op mode.
The production features quality 3D visuals. Since the game's gameplay is quite specific, it also requires a microphone.
