The Shipyard Simulator 2013 is a simulation game produced by the Ed Venture Studios development team. The player plays the role of a shipbuilder, whose tasks include servicing vehicles and equipment (e.g. forklifts, cranes, grinders) working in a modern shipyard, as well as supervising all processes related to the production of various types of vessels.
Simulator shipyard 2013 is the first game in the achievements of the German studio Ed Venture. The title was produced for Astragon Software, a company specializing in untypical simulations.
According to the title Simulator of the shipyard 2013 allows you to play the role of a shipbuilder. The player has the opportunity to take an active part in all stages of the creation of vessels - from the transport of elements, through their installation in the dock, to painting and finally launching.
The game consists in the performance of subsequent tasks. They require the operation of various types of vehicles and machines used in modern shipyards. The player must demonstrate proficiency in operating, among others, a forklift truck, a crane, a welding machine, a sander and a spray gun. Proper execution of all operations allows to achieve the final effect - to launch the ship.
The game offers two play modes, both of which are for a single player only. The main campaign consists of a series of missions with increasing difficulty (increasingly complex units to build). On the other hand, the free-to-play mode allows you to take up the production of ships without top-down targets.
In of visuals, the 2013 Shipyard Simulator presents a level typical of low-budget simulations. Three-dimensional graphical environment is characterized by a relatively small number of details and simple animations of moving objects.
