The main character is a boy who tries to save the land of imagination and its inhabitants from extinction. The player is supposed to help Max and his friends solve a number of problems.

You have been sent to your room without supper, you are wild, you are Max. Inspired by the Spike Jonze movie and classic Maurice Sendak book, players explore a long-forgotten island filled with treacherous terrain, enormous insects, and even bigger Wild Things. It isn’t easy befriending a hungry Wild Thing. They will test you at every turn, and they can gobble you up in a blink! With some puzzles solved, and hordes of island critters fended off, you may just win them over and be crowned King of the Wild Things. But what happens to kings of this island...?
