White Night

White Night for PC, PS4 and etc. is a third-person survival horror game designed with unique black-and-white visual style. It was inspired by works of Alfred Hitchcock, and the Obscure series. White Night’s melancholic story with psychological horror’s features arose some interest during the production, earning it nominations on e.g. Game Connections 2013 and GDC 2014 conference.

Plot

The story of White Night takes us to late 30’s of 20th century, to an old family mansion that was the scene of horrible events. The protagonist ends up trapped in it and must solve many puzzles that require using the mechanics of dark and light. Mysterious creatures that lurk in the dark are his main enemies, and the hero must learn utilizing various sources of light if he wants to survive the night.
