Technical aspects

In 1994 Neo Geo featured an original arcade game called Windjammers. Years later, the game was refreshed, and later it also received the continuation described herein. Both games were created by DotEmu studio DotEmu.

Mechanics

Windjammers 2 is based on a formula introduced by its predecessor. The game introduces players to an unusual sport discipline - during the matches, players try to hit the disc in the unprotected field of the opponent's half of the pitch. Each of one's players has different types of throws at their disposal - from standard throws, through "overclocked", to counters and powerful "super shots". The competition is limited in time and the player who manages to score more points becomes the winner.

In comparison to the original, Windjammers 2 has not only been expanded to include new stadiums and previously unseen athletes; players have also received a wider range of games.
