Wings of Fury

Arcade game in which we play the role of the pilot of the American plane F6F Hellcat, stationed during World War II on one of the aircraft carriers off the coast of Japan.

Our task will be to pacify a dozen or so islands on which enemy troops are stationed, as well as attacks on vessels and air combat. The number of objects necessary for destruction increases with subsequent missions, which translates, of course, into an increase in the level of difficulty. Our airplane is controlled with the keys of the cursor. Manoeuvring in the air is not very complicated, but the landing on board an air carrier makes a lot more effort. It is better to practice solidly before the game, because this operation is necessary to complete each mission and it is a pity to waste time on rehearsals after its completion. In later scenarios you will need to return to the ship in order to replenish the fuel and oil levels, but by this time you will have almost mechanically performed the landing operation. The plane is equipped with a machine gun as standard, but you can also load one of three other types of weaponry: bombs, torpedoes and rockets. Each of these weapons is designed for specific actions, only the deck cannon is universal and you can try to shoot down enemy planes as well as attack soldiers on dry land.
