WipEout HD

Wipeout HD is the next installment of one of the most popular series of futuristic racing games. This cycle began on the first generation of the PlayStation. Subsequent titles found their way to various Sony hardware platforms, including PSP handheld. This racer is the first product in the series to be developed exclusively for PlayStation 3 owners. This means, of course, extremely detailed graphics. The other special features of the series, such as the sense of enormous speeds with which the modern design and floating machines move, have not been dispensed with.

One of the main advantages of this racing game is of course the very interestingly designed routes on which the races are held. The tracks are filled with very tight corners or numerous hills, which have to be ed with great care. As with the previous Wipeout titles, we can also count on the fact that each route will branch out at some point, with one variant offering a simpler and the other a more difficult way to the destination. The tracks were mainly lined up inside modern factories or around futuristic cities. As part of the curiosity, it is worth mentioning that some of the included routes appeared already in previous editions of the Wipeout cycle. This includes the Chenghou Project circuit, known for its Wipeout Pure game.
