Despite the culmination of the Wizardra trilogy, the authors of this popular series of cRPG games, Sir-Tech, decided to continue the series, offering players new adventures in the already known universe of the series. The fourth installment of Wizardra, however, brings with it a lot of changes in the mechanics of the game, because instead of controlling the whole team, in the game we manage only one character.

The heroine of the game is the evil sorceress Verdna, who in the finals of the first part of the series was defeated and trapped in deep dungeons by a team of daredevils. Stripped of its power and trapped in its former kingdom, it is protected by the traps and hosts of monsters that it created itself. Over time, however, Verdna gradually regains her old skills, including her extremely valuable ability to summon monsters. With their help, the sorceress regains her freedom and decides to take revenge for the wrongs she has suffered.
