Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus – The Amazing Deeds of Captain Wilkins is the fourth DLC for the game called Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, developed by Machine Games. Among other platforms, the expansion is available for PC, PS4 and XONE.
Plot
Similarly to the main protagonists from the previous add-ons, also the main protagonists of The Amazing Deeds of Captain Wilkins expansion participated in the events shown in the first add-on titled Episode Zero. Captain Gerald Wilkins fights Nazis on Alaska and is tasked with stopping them from launching a secret Operation Black Sun.
Mechanics
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus – The Amazing Deeds of Captain Wilkins allows a player to participate in the campaign on the frosty peninsula. The gameplay revolves around the classic formula featured in the previous game developed by Machine Games – during the adventure, a player gets to eliminate battalions of enemies using fancy and elaborate firearms as well as unique abilities exhibited by the main protagonist.
Technical aspects
The PC, PS4 and XONE release of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus – The Amazing Deeds of Captain Wilkins has been based on the same technology as the base game. Thus, players are bound to enjoy high-quality visuals. The developers, however, did not implement any significant changes to the game’s formula. Traditionally, the expansion can be purchased either separately or as a part of the season .
