World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Classic introduces a number of new features. There are new areas, such as Deepholm destroyed by Deathwing and the underwater city of Vashj'ir. The expansion also introduces new playable races. The first are the Horde's goblins, who start in Kezan (north of Kalimdor) and have access to all classes except for paladin and druid. The second are the worgen, people affected by the curse of Arugal, who fight for the alliance - they start in Gilneas (in the Eastern Kingdom) and have access to all classes except paladin and shaman. The expansion also introduces lots of new quests,

class combinations, increases the level cap to 85, simplifies and enhances character development. Guilds can now level up, letting their repair gear for cheap, making equipment more durable and granting the ability of mass resurrection.

Though the developers did their best to recreate the original DLC, they have also introduced some minor changes. They've tweaked the character development and party recruitment systems (as well as queuing and ing players thanks to the new Dungeon Group Finder), and added a new dungeon difficulty level. All pets, mounts and transmogs are now shared between all of the 's characters. The final touch are improvements to the auction house.

Game modes

World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Classic adds new features to PvP as well. Battlegrounds reward us with special points needed to purchase the best equipment, while Tol Barad is a new area factions fight over to gain access to special quests.
