World Series of Poker 2008: Battle for the Bracelets is the next installment of the highly popular game series. The 2008 installment does not introduce any revolutionary changes to the gameplay, but it clearly improves selected components. The main attraction continues to be the opportunity to participate in virtual poker tournaments and compete with the greatest champions of this sport.

Activision is again responsible for releasing the game. The 2008 Edition was released on as many as six different hardware platforms. Differences between the individual versions concern mainly the controls and the quality of graphics.

In addition to the aforementioned characters, the list included Scotty Nguyen, Allen Cunningham, and David Williams. In the course of the game, we take part in various poker tournaments, fighting for, among other things, the prestigious poker champions' bracelets that appear in the subtitle of the game.

The competition is played in real-life casinos located mainly in Las Vegas. These include Caesar's Palace and Flamingo. The visuals of World Series of Poker 2008 present an even higher level than the previous installment. First of all, the exact reproduction of the face and behavior of famous poker players was taken care of.
