Worms: Revolution for PC, PS3 and X360 is another installment in a series of turn-based strategy games featuring the titular worms armed to the teeth. The game makes references to the series' initial installments and contrary to several previous 3D Worms games, offers an experience based on classic patterns - Revolution is played from a side view. The game was developed by Team 17.

Mechanics

Again, the player takes part in spectacular encounters between teams comprised of worms with hostile attitudes. Following the pattern of the previous installments, the gameplay is turn-based here. The player has a limited amount of time to move a particular worm and perform an offensive action against the worms belonging to the rival team.

Worms: Revolution for PC, PS3 and X360 offers many different weapons and tools of destruction. Worms make use of different firearms, rocket launchers and grenades. This installment does not lack such classics as the Holy Hand Grenade or Super Sheep as well. A wide set of weapons is complemented by regular tools, such as rope, parachute or blow torch. Several new kinds of weaponry were added in Revolution, such as telekinesis, water pistol or Boggy-B.
