Wrench

Wrench is a simulation game in which the player assumes the role of a car mechanic. The game was developed by Missing Digit studio, and although it s virtual reality gear, it is not required for the game to work.

Mechanics

In Wrench players observe the action from the first person perspective (FPP). One starts the game as an assistant to a mechanic servicing racing cars. Initially, players deal with simple things like changing fluids or pumping wheels. However, players earn experience points for the actions they take, and over time they advance to next levels (separately for each car component they take care of; the speed of one's progress depends on the performance of a serviced card on the racing track).

In this way, one's role in the team begins to grow, and with it - the range of avaiable tools and assigned responsibilities, which include diagnostics, replacing individual parts, and repairing the suspension, brakes, and other engine components. At a later stage of the game, players face new possibilities such as asg duties to mechanics on lower positions.
