Youtubers Life 2 is a game that simulates the work and life of a person creating video content for YouTube. The player has to record and edit videos, develop the popularity and reputation of his protégé, invest in business development and manage the character's personal relationships.

Youtubers Life 2 is a simulation that allows you to taste the life of a person who creates video content on YouTube. It was developed by U-Play Online studio, the same team that created the first part released in 2016.
The game keeps the basic gameplay mechanics from the original. So we will deal with the creation of video materials and their publication. Our successes provide us with funds, for which we buy increasingly better equipment and hire collaborators, thus increasing the level of professionalism of our activity.
Once again, the reputation of our youtuber plays a key role, as well as organizing his/her private life, including relationships with friends, romances and a wide range of leisure activities.
Youtubers Life 2 also offers many new features. The list of video types that can be created has been extended. Players can publish gameplays, reviews, interviews, speedruns and unboxing videos, among others. The statistics of subscribers and viewers react much more dynamically to our actions, so increasing the variety of materials released has a clearer impact on the increase in popularity of the channel.
There is also a new mechanics of daily changing trends, affecting the popularity of our videos. The authors have also prepared additional options to modify the appearance of the character and his home. Elements related to the development of relationships with NPCs have also been expanded, which will include additional series of tasks.
Youtubers Life 2 only allows you to play in single player mode.
The game has an eye-pleasing 3D graphic design done in a cartoon style, with strongly exaggerated character models.

The foundation of YouTubers Life 2 is pretty surprisingly solid. However, there are some issues that made the overall experience less enjoyable for me. I really regret that this title was not better tailored for the power level of the Switch console; considering how smoothly some other big titles like Animal Crossing can play on it, it was a big letdown. That being said, the game was fun and worth playing. It had quite a lot to do and is definitely worth the price tag.

YouTuber’s Life 2 is quite evidently a step up from the previous game, most notably with the glossy open world map and unique characters. Unfortunately, the drawbacks in the form of poor tutorials and questionable mechanics such as the energy system left me trying to grapple with the controls and understand the game more than anything else. These issues completely sapped my motivation to keep playing, and there’s no telling whether it will improve by increasing the subscriber count even more. Oh well, at least I got to hang out with Jeff Goldblum.
