Zenonia 4: Return of the Legend to RPG action, using a free-to-play model. The game takes us to the land of fantasy, and the gameplay focuses on fighting hordes of enemies using a heavily arcade battle system. In addition to the campaign, there is also a multiplayer mode.
Zenonia 4: Return Of The Legend, released on AND and iOS, is an action RPG. The game is available in a free-to-play model with optional microtransactions and was developed by Gamevil studio, the authors of the previous three parts.
The action of Zenonia 4: Return Of The Legend begins ten years after the events of Zenonia 3. The main character is the protagonist of the first part, a warrior named Regret. After sacrificing his life to save his foster son, he was imprisoned in a strange world between the land of mortals and the world of the dead. There he was experiencing an illusion, in which he led a peaceful life in a small village as a child.
This dream comes to an end with the arrival of a future version of Regret. He confesses that he was brought back to life to overcome the lord of darkness. Unfortunately, he turned out to be too weak and failed. Mortally wounded, he uses the rest of his strength to travel back in time to warn his younger self and thus give himself more time to prepare for the confrontation.
Regret is the only playable character in Zenonia 4: Return Of The Legend, but when we start the game, we choose one of four classes with unique fighting styles. Slayer uses a powerful but heavy and slow sword, while Blader focuses on weak but fast dual blades. The Ranger class focuses on long-range attacks, and Druid has a wide range of spells to choose from.
The game follows the solutions typical for Asian action RPGs. The camera is placed high above the hero's head, and the gameplay consists mainly of exploring a large world, completing quests and, above all, fighting hordes of enemies. The combat system is highly arcade, offering refined controls, fast action and a large selection of attacks. In addition, each class is genuinely different, has a separate development tree and requires different tactics.
Zenonia 4: Return Of The Legend offers an extensive campaign and multiplayer mode, offering PvP battles in 1v1 or 2v2 variants.
