The production is set in ancient Greece, where you play as a leader of a city, which means, you have not only to develop your domain, but also to care for its citizens and appease the gods overseeing the region.
Zeus: Master of Olympus is a sixth installment in the series of great economic strategy games by Impressions Software. This time, the creators of Caesar and Pharaoh take the players to ancient Greece, full of heroes, gods and mythical creatures. We may build legendary cities (Athens, Sparta), follow their development, build colonies, conquer new lands, and trade with our neighbors. We may also lead real heroes, who fight monsters without fear, plunder mysterious ruins and command the most important battles. The scenarios are set in the mythical Greece.

Building cities is actually quite an old trope in video games. Over the years, many city-builders have appeared on the market, putting us in the roles of architects, kings, and mayors.
Pharaoh A New Era, an all-time classic, was released 2 days ago with very positive reviews. We have asked Théophile Noiré, the project director, a few questions about future plans and the process of developing this game.

Zeus was not only the lord of Olympus, but also of my computer. City builders Impressions Games are still hosted on my hard drive, but there can be only one leader and that is the lightning-throwing Greek god.

Strategy
Poseidon: The God of Atlantis is the official extension to the highly popular economic strategy of Zeus: Mr. Olympus. Just like in the base game, the action of the add-on was set in antiquity. This time, however, players take control over the development of mythical Atlantis. Developers from Impressions Games studio have also decided to add a functional editor, allowing you to create your own play scenarios.
