A representative of the tower defense genre, where players are at the forefront of the elite commandos fighting against the title living corpses. During the game of Zombie Defense, our task is to defend certain points on the map, which requires, first of all, the proper distribution of individual units. The title is distributed in the free-to-play model.

Zombie Defense is a tower defense game enriched with elements from real-time strategy games. Polish independent studio Home Net Games is responsible for the game.
Zombie Defense takes us on a journey to a post-apocalyptic world overrun by the title living dead. The World Government, created shortly after the outbreak of the epidemic, sends an elite Strike Group "Kobra 1", led by an experienced lieutenant, to the battlefield. As the officer, the player takes on the responsibility for the final clash with the undead and for the lives of his subordinates.
The action in Zombie Defense is observed from a camera suspended high above the battlefield. Our task is to defend certain points on the map against undead attacks. The devs have prepared more than twenty types of units - both soldiers and automatic sentry towers. The key to success is, above all, to make sure that they are arranged in such a way as to prevent the zombies from breaking through the defenses.
No less important are the improvements, which we supply our subordinates with between stages - there are more than one hundred and fifty of them, and we are talking about new skills as well as additional armaments. The arsenal includes not only classic firearms (such as machine guns, rifles, and sniper rifles) but also explosives and Molotov cocktails. Due to the fact that zombies come from all sides at the same time, vehicles like bulldozers or armored transporters, able to turn enemies into a bloody pulp, are often useful as well. From time to time it is also worth taking advantage of the opportunity to call for , for example in the form of an air raid.
Zombie Defense offers several gameplay modes, including a campaign consisting of several dozen missions - there are also special challenges to test and a module in which we face endless waves of enemies. It is worth noting that the devs enabled us to choose one of the four levels of difficulty, and our achievements can be boasted on the online leaderboards.
Zombie Defense was developed primarily for mobile devices, but the three-dimensional visuals of the game presents a decent level of quality also on PCs. The title is distributed in a free-to-play model with optional microstransactions - but this does not apply to the version for the Nintendo Wii U console, which is a standard, paid game.
