General description

Characteristic: A wyvern known as the "Queen of the Land." Terrestrial predator, it overpowers its prey with a venomous tail and powerful legs.

Known habitat: Ancient Forest, Wildspire Waste

To battle this foe efficiently, you'll have to keep in mind the following information:

1. Pick up a fire-resistant armor and deal with the poison by cutting off Rathian's tail. Watch out when you steal an egg from its nest, because a Rathian will chase the thief to the end of the New World.
2. A very powerful enemy, best attacked with Dragon-type damage or use the fact that this particular beast is vulnerable to stuns. Prepare some antidote and avoid its fire attacks.
3. Fight near hills, places to slide, and use aerial attacks. Especially, of you've got a powerful, heavy weapon.

Resistances and physiology
