25 million copies of The Witcher games sold by the end of 2016
CD Projekt announced that 25 million copies of The Witcher games have been sold by the end of 2016. The overwhelming majority of this number comes from The Witcher 3 and its two add-ons.
Hearts of Stone launched.

The sales of the 2007’s Witcher and The Witcher 2 compared with those of The Witcher 3 and its add-ons – the red bars (source: Bankier.pl).
Obviously, the overwhelming majority of these 25 million comprises The Witcher 3 and its two add-ons (the red bars on the chart; the black ones are the first two games). In total, the third Witcher game and its expansions generated the revenue of over PLN 1 billion (roughly USD 250 million), 96% of which came from outside the borders of Poland.
With The Witcher trilogy now wrapped up, next in line is Cyberpunk 2077, but no new info was shared on that.
