GTA 3 in the „unofficial” version for the Dreamcast console received the announced performance mode. Although the game runs at 60 frames per second, the gameplay isn't fun.

The initiators of porting improving the gameplay smoothness, it's time to introduce the performance mode, which ensures 60 frames per second.
The game launched the Sega Dreamcast console was showcased on X by Falco Girgis, one of the project's creators. It actually runs at 60 fps, but you probably wouldn't want to play under such conditions for too long. In this case, the cost of the performance jump turned out to be too high.

As you can see, cars practically appear out of nowhere on the streets, textures load while driving, and the field of view is severely limited. Perhaps the devs will eventually deal with these "minor inconveniences" and Dreamcast owners will be able to enjoy the third installment of the GTA series in performance mode, without losing the ability to play the game as such.
