Blood and Wine expansion as ambitious as The Witcher 3 itself
The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine is coming out in Q2 2016. The second expansion to the hit RPG will be a as ambitious a project as The Witcher 3 itself.
We have a lot of news from CD Projekt RED today, starting with The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine, the second expansion for their last year’s hit RPG, is coming out in Q2 2016, and no later than June. When it comes to its content, Adam Kicinski, CEO at CD Projekt publishing company, commented:
“As for expansion packs, [Blood and Wine] is as huge a project as The Witcher 3 was for games.”

The team at CD Projekt RED have really huge ambitions for Blood and Wine – and no wonder, as it’s the last time we will visit Geralt’s trilogy (although it’s most probably not our last visit in The Witcher universe). The first big expansion pack, Hearts of Stone was a resounding success, and was considered by many fans to be even better than the core game. If Blood and Wine is aiming to top that, then we can hardly wait!
Blood and Wine will take us to a new area, the small kingdom of Touissant, yet untouched by the war. However, even this seemingly peaceful realm hides bloody secrets that Geralt will have to uncover.
