Cloud Chasers dev's Airheart will soon hit Steam Early Access
Having been greenlit on Steam, Airheart is soon going to launch in Early Access. This arcade shooter with roguelike elements will continue the story started in the mobile game Cloud Chasers.
Blindflug Studios, the creators of the mobile sandbox survival Cloud Chasers, are preparing another game, which has already been greenlit on Steam and is soon to launch in Early Access. This time we will get a PC dieselpunk arcade shooter with roguelike elements called Airheart.
Set in the same universe as Cloud Chaser, Airheart will continue the story of its predecessor. We will play as Amelia, the girl who travelled with her father across the desert in the previous game, now a young woman working as an aircraft pilot for a company that catches skyfish. What makes this job challenging, is the fact that the skies are full of pirates and other dangers.
Your task, as the player, will be to navigate the plane, catch fish, shoot enemies, fight bosses, and avoid crashing into one of numerous sky islands. The fish that you manage to catch can be sold for money, which you can then spend on plane upgrades. Airheart is currently being developed for PC, but console versions are also planned in the future. Find out more about the project from the FAQ posted on Steam.
