To talk about PvE, we should mention gameplay modes in the first-place. There are 3 at this point:
- Tactical Turmoil – it’s an extraction mode, where you fight against AI and other players for precious loot, complete missions and hunt dangerous bosses.
- Havoc Warfare – It’s a multiplayer mode. At this point there is only one gameplay option – attack and defense. Two teams of 32 face each other in an attempt to conquer/defend strategic points.
- Campaign (Black Hawk Dawn) – not yet implemented, but according to the description on the official site, it will be “classic Remastered game featuring high-definition Cinematic Warfare”
Delta Force Hawk Ops – Everything about PvE
So, the game is mainly a PvP experience, at least for now, and you should expect that it will not change in the future. However, we may assume that Campaign will be possible to complete by one person (if not dedicated for), it is not confirmed, though. Moreover, in the case of Tactical Turmoil, the mode is PvEvP. It means that you have to fight against AI and real people. If you are lucky, you will be able to go through the map without meeting other players, but it is not guaranteed.
