Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Devs Spoke Out on Mods and DLC. They Also Delivered Bad News About Next-Gen Update to KCD
We learned about plans for expansions to Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. The developers also mentioned mod .

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is one of the most anticipated games of 2024, so any new information about this title is welcomed with great interest. Sir Tobi, who works at Warhorse studio, revealed the latest specifics in an interview.
About for mods in KCD2
One of the most interesting topics discussed was the issue of mods. As it turns out, the devs don't plan to officially fan modifications on consoles. Sir Tobi was also unable to definitively confirm whether the tools will be made available on PC.
However, if the developers choose to do so, they will attempt to make it happen sooner than in the case of the first installment (where we waited a year and a half for official ). Developers realize that the sooner they do it, the larger and more active the modding community around Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will be.
About extras and other issues
- Crafting and pole weapon combat will appear in the game. The devs weren't able to implement horseback combat during tournaments.
- Unlike the first part, in the sequel the developers created separate animations for each type of weapon, which will increase the diversity of the combat system.
- Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 for 99% will receive expansions. At present, the developers are entirely focused on developing the core version of the game and have only vague ideas about the DLC.
- Warhorse Studios has full creative control over the game and the publishing company Deep Silver doesn't interfere with the production. Thus, everything we find in the game will be there because the devs themselves wanted it.
In the interview, Sir Tobi also informed that the Warhorse studio has no plans to update the next-gen version of the first Kingdom Come: Deliverance, as the developers don't have the processing capacity for it. At least for now, there is no indication that such a patch could have been created without from another team.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is coming to PC, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PlayStation 5. The game is scheduled to debut this year.
For now, Warhorse isn't able to provide a more precise date. In the interview, Sir Tobi assured that work is progressing at a very good pace and something unpredictable would have to happen for the game to be delayed until 2025.
- Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 players will soon check out 1.3 update and the first story DLC
- Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 players find out how cruel Henry's adventure can be when you start the game with all 10 negative perks
