Mafia: The Old Country creators showcase the Sicilian adventure in a new trailer
Mafia: The Old Country was present at Summer Game Fest 2025. The game of the Hangar 13 studio aspires to be one of the most important titles in this year's publishing catalog of 2K Games.

Mafia: The Old Country has grown into one of the potentially biggest hits in this year's 2K Games catalog. So it's no wonder that the publisher decided to use Summer Game Fest to remind players about this title.
During the show, we were able to watch the trailer for the latest game of Hangar 13 studio. The video below gives us a glimpse into a gangster story set in Sicily, which we'll discover as we go through the linear adventure.
Linear? Yup - the developers have not been hiding for some time now that in Mafia: Definitive Edition, they decided to offer us a more "cinematic" production in the style of the first installment, in which freedom gives way to spectacle, and maintaining the desired pace of the narrated story.
We'll see if Enzo's adventure serving the criminal Don Torrisi family will benefit from this change, or if leaving the open world will ruin the whole franchise. Right now, the only certain thing is that the game is going to look really good. It seems like the developers knew exactly how to make the most of the Unreal Engine 5.
We'll find out how Mafia: The Old Country actually turns out on August 8, 2025, when the game is released for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The title will receive a cinematic localization in Poland (subtitles).
