Diablo 4 brings many features in 2025, but second expansion will take time. Blizzard revealed roap for its hack'n'slash
Blizzard unveiled Diablo 4 development plans for 2025. Three new seasons await players, introducing both temporary and ongoing attractions.

the seventh season is underway with witches and the Whispering Tree as the main theme. Blizzard, however, isn't slowing down and has just presented plans for the entire year, and even reached a bit further.
Diablo 4 roap
Once the current season ends, a new season called Belial's return will start. This was introduced by the developers a while back, and among the new features, we can find boss powers and a higher difficulty level.
According to the above schedule, we will also receive the mysterious Incursion activity and a cat as a pet to get. Furthermore, the game will permanently introduce extra bosses, reliquaries, and modifications in seasonal progress and lair bosses. Most likely, a special event will also be organized on the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of the game's release.
However, further plans are something completely new. The 9th season, titled Sins of The Horadrim, will run from July to September. On the list of new features, we will find the powers of Horadrim, dungeon escalation, and another pet to acquire. The permanent additions will also feature new activities in the nightmare dungeons and for keyboard and mouse on consoles.
On the other hand, the last season of this year will start in September and last until December. It's called Infernal Chaos, and within its contents, we will discover the powers of chaos and changes in the hellish hordes. There should also be another pet to get. However, we will only learn about the content added at that time later on.
What about the second expansion?
However, if you are waiting for the second expansion, you must be patient. The DLC is scheduled for next year, but we don't know exactly when. In 2026, there will also be a new ranking system and many other attractions that haven't yet been revealed. In short, fans have something to look forward to.
Diablo 4, along with the Vessel of Hatred expansion, is available on PC and consoles, including PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. You can also play the base game as part of the Game subscription.
