The fact that EA Play will be included free of charge in the Xbox Game subscription, was known for many months. While EA's games could have already been enjoyed by Xbox owners for some time, when it comes to PC gamers, the integration of the service was officially delayed for a few months last December. However, Microsoft has just confirmed that EA Play on PCs with Xbox Game and Xbox Game Ultimate subscriptions will officially launch on March 18, at 2:00 PM PT.
Game owners on PC will gain access to over sixty PC versions of games from Electronic Arts, including Star Wars: Squadrons.
In order to the games, we'll have to install a separate EA Desktop app, then create or to a pre-ed Electronic Arts and link our Xbox to it. Let's add that EA Play is not only access to the library of full versions of the games from the catalog of the company. As part of the service, the players can also enjoy ten-hour trial versions of the latest titles released by EA, exclusive challenges and prizes, as well as discounts on digital purchases through the developer's app.
Xbox Game is available to both Xbox and PC s. In addition, thanks to the xCloud streaming service, which is part of the subscription in the Ultimate version, also owners of Android mobile devices can use the cloud to play about 150 titles available as part of Microsoft's subscription. As a reminder, we only need to pay $1 for the first month of Game subscription (later it's $9.99 for Xbox Game on PC or $14.99 for Xbox Game Ultimate on PC and consoles).
