Elon Musk's mother shares a computer aptitude test he took in 1989
Elon Musk's mother shared how proud she was of her son's score on a computer aptitude test. It's a shame those skills didn't transfer to Path of Exile 2.

A few days ago, Maye Musk, the mother of tech billionaire Elon Musk, shared test results on Path of Exile 2, though.

Maye Musk wrote in her social media post alongside the shared image: “While sorting through photos, I came across computer aptitude test results of @elonmusk at 17. My genius boy. Proud mom.” The responses are filled with an outpouring of for both Maye and Elon Musk. The test was organized by the University of Pretoria, a school in South Africa that Elon Musk briefly attended. Shortly after this aptitude test, Elon Musk would immigrate to Canada and attend school in Ontario before transferring to the University of Pennsylvania and eventually attending graduate school at Stanford University in California.
The tech billionaire responded to his mother’s social media post: “They said I scored the highest for engineering aptitude that they had ever seen. Or, in other words, not bad for a human, as a future AI might say.” Looking at the social media post, you may be confused because Elon Musk has changed his name to “Kekius Maximus.” There’s no way to know what’s going on in that A+ computer aptitude mind of his, but it has caused the Kekius cryptocurrency/meme coin to jump up in value.
Musk’s recent actions in the U.S., including slashing the budgets of federal programs, laying off thousands of government workers in the name of efficiency, and accessing the data of private citizens and employees without authorization, have begun to turn public opinion of the billionaire. During a Path of Exile 2 livestream, Musk was essentially a top-ranked player.
Elon Musk scored well on a computer aptitude test in 1989. Since then, nothing has shown me that those abilities were put to good use. Taking tests well is one form of intelligence, and those skills certainly don’t transfer to everything, such as social interactions, running businesses, helping a country be more efficient, and paying your fair share of taxes. Thankfully, Musk appears to be stepping away from his role in the U.S. Government to focus on his CEO role at Tesla.
