Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon PC is the next free Ubisoft game
The second to last game to be offered for free for the Ubi30 celebration is Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. This standalone expansion to the popular FPS will be given away on PC starting next Wednesday.
Ubisoft have revealed that the next Ubi30 gift is going to be Beyond Good & Evil – just head over here. Ubisoft has been celebrating their 30th anniversary by giving away one PC title per month starting from June 2016, and this is going to continue until the end of the year, meaning that there is still one game left after Blood Dragon.
Other than the first-person shooter mechanics, Blood Dragon has little to do with the original game, which was set in the modern-day on a tropical island. In this crazy adventure we get thrown into a wacky cyberpunk world bathed in the neon light, inspired by sci-fi movies (such as RoboCop, Predator, Terminator) and novels from 1980s. The story is set in 2007, after an outbreak of a nuclear war that plunged the world into chaos. In the game you become a Cyber Commando, Sergeant Rex Power Colt, sent on a tropical island, where he has to infiltrate a biological weapon research compound.
